Has Sega Given up on Crazy Taxi? it would be cool if there were a Crazy Taxi game on Wii. Even cooler if You could use Mario Kart WIi's Wii wheel

I doubt it would have the same appeal as it did back in the day where arcade game were fun on console. Maybe for VC or wiiware, not a new game though. I believe it would sink.

I like Crazy Taxi, but I don't think a new game would sell too well, it has fairly narrow appeal. The best you'll probably get was the port to the Gamecube.

Sega's very...odd right now. They've had some very bad ideas and a bad past (obviously) I can't say I'm looking forward to anything they do, nor have followed them since sonic adventure 2 on DC years ago.

They have a lot of catching and making up to do. Crazy Taxi would not be a wise start. They should take their time on the next sonic game (if there is one) make a few side projects, some fun, good games, even if small to boost their ego a bit, then release a well thought out sonic adventure type game, and gain their momentum back.

Sonic has been the backbone for sega, as for nintendo it's mario, playstation it used to be crash, and xbox is a mystery

You can use the wii wheel for anything you like, i use it for baseball on wii sports and even golf, it's feels weird with boxing though

On the orginal PlayStation maybe, but after that he appeared on other consoles too...I don't think Sony really has a "Mascot" per say.

Crash can't be sony's since it's cross platform, same with Tomb Raider...both used to be PS exclusives. Sweet Tooth from TM used to be a mascot, but TM has died.

I'd say ratchet is probably their new mascot.
