Wii would like to play something different

So Sonicbeat9, are you saying Nintendo or Wii in general, cause your first post makes it sound like Wii games in general? There are plenty of good games for the Wii that don't involve Mario and other over-used Nintendo staples. You just have to look at 3rd parties- companies that are not Nintendo- because what Nintendo generally does is capitalize on it's old stuff. And why not since it's making tons of money doing it?

But really, different characters/stories/IPs (intellectual property) on the Wii? Trauma Center: New Blood, No More Heroes, Zack and Wiki, BlaskWorks, Boom Blox, and Elebits are all great Wii-only 3rd party games that are brand new IPs. Then there's stuff like RE4 and Okami which were ported for other systems but even better on the Wii. And these are just retail games, there are some other very different games available on WiiWare such as My Life as a King, Lost Winds, and Toki Tori.

Don't like Nintendo's Mario obsession? Don't buy the games. There's plenty of others to choose from that are already out. Not to mention Nintendo's other games like Metroid Prime and Fire Emblem which are totally different from all the Mario stuff.

Nah not necessarily wii and uh yeah I like nintendo I'm just saying I want a fresh new character there's no new characters. Just a new character and a new storyline that's all I'm saying

Then like I said, if you want new stories and new characters there are plenty of Wii games available. It just seems like all you're talking about is Nintendo's Mario games when there are so much more.

And if you didn't have a Gamecube before, the Metroid Prime series is fantastic. Yes, it's an old character. But FPS/adventure gameplay and seriously fun. See? Nintendo game that doesn't involve Bowser kidnapping Princess.
