Dbomb FINALLY got NMH

i finally got it after searching EVERYWHERE!

i walked into target just for kicks, and there it was on the discount rack for 30 bucks.

i got it and popped it into my wii.

gotta say

1 the gfx suck
2 its pretty damn funny
3 combat is awesome
4 city is blanddd

i give it a 7.5/10 so far, just beat the first boss and did the pineapple job.

I haven't palyed too much yet, but it's meant to be the way it is, so remember that.

The 8-bit and graphics are supposed to be there.

I think the sound, presentation, characters, story, gameplay, and just about everything else is badass. I give it a 8.5/10 easily right now, will probably be higher once I play more.

I agree with the city being bland, and stuff, but it's not GTA.
Be happy they even let you have that freedom.

yea, remember everything is presented to you the way it is not because they can't do any better but because they purposefully made it that way. they're trying to convey the gaming/otaku culture while making direct references to real life examples be it directly, subtly or tongue in cheek.

they make you do those stupid money making missions to show how stupid they are and dumb it is to have them in other games... lots of junk like that.

The money things take all of two minutes to do, I hate when I see people complain about that especially since the money is rewarding.

I quite enjoyed the game it was one of my favourite Wii games and was my most favourite until Brawl came out. The style of the game is what makes it so good, the visuals and humor go hand in hand.

$30 bucks in my mind is a steal, I had no problem paying $49.99 for it.

Well it's no GTA man, there's only a few places you can go to actually progress in the game, and the icons are huge and flash so you can't miss. So it doesn't bother me at all. Not like it gets in the way on anything.

The game is special~ but it got repetitive for me. i love the art style and throwbacks to old school gamers.

graphics aren't the best, but that's usually the price to pay for unique style, I like them... I like the subtle throwbacks to the old school as I've been playing games since the atari, and at one point owned every nes game except the nes world championship cart... so I'm a BIG classic game nut, it's a nice little touch...the main character is well, easy to hate, yet everyone sees something about themselves in him, maybe not the same things, but something... so far it's good i've beaten the first boss... for 30 bucks it was well worth it just for the unique experience of the game... so far the best like ever is "****head" because it reminds me of the line from big lebowski when the dude was being followed and he got out of his car... LOL

I think the character is badass. Pretty funny too.
