The Official ''Animal Crossing" Thread

Now that we heard alot of news about it and it will be anounced at E3, I decided to make a thread. In this thread we will talk about what you want in the game and all the knew news for this game.
To start, I think their should be more choice for clothing and more stores.
How about you?

I think the online could make this game great. If you could have a town with friends, and visit other people's towns and meet people who aren't friends would be amazing. Voice chat is a must for this and I am hoping they will release a head set soon. I played ac for only 10 minutes in my life, but am really excited about this game.

I think it'll get boring, if it's anything like the sims. I never tried AC so I can't bash it, but it sounds just like the sims. :/

I hope the online is good and we don't have monthly fees for it being a MMO, and that it's huge and doesn't get boring.

Its much better than the Sims, I don't think thats quite a fair comparison really. One the GameCube version you could play old Nes and Snes games and that was good before Wii was out. You could fish, catch bugs etc. and design your own clothes as well shop for clothes and other various things. It was all in real time as well so you would get gifts on your birthday from your Mom and other people in your town, there would be Christmas celebrations as well as all the other holidays. It really was a fun game.

What I would like to see done is the ability to have a friend move into your town /buy a house when your playing online together. Introduce some more modes of transportation as well like bicycles or something.

Great idea, Wiiman! An official Animal Crossing thread is long overdue.

I also agree that there is no comparison between Animal Crossing and the Sims. AC is so much better, though I thought MySims turned out pretty good.

Personally, I would like to see GREAT online. That would include, but is not limited to:

Visiting friend's towns while they are online or offline.
Voice chat with friends/random town visitors.
Visit unknown people's towns while their online(you wouldn't want them cutting down your trees if you didn't know who the person is while you offline)

Ya that would be cool if their was a shop to buy transportation (cars).
I can see it now, 2008 Dodge Viper hitting houses and killing people:P lol
I am going to pre-order it when I see that you can pre-order it :P

I don't think I once was able to clean her car to perfection...

Hopefully they make a lawnmower... I hated coming back to my town after a while (or advancing time) and coming back to a bunch of weeds....

Yeah, I think cleaning her car resulted in constantly pressing A or something. I only was able to do it once or twice.

Lawnmower would be good, weeds I guess was a way to make you stay or come back and play more but sometimes you need a break.

Haha nice, hopefully if they do bring her back they make it easier

What I want to see is more clothes, more options... and if we could wear different hats or pants or something. I think pants might be going to far but you get the idea.

Hopefully the new AC brings back some of the old GCN villagers, like Billy and Doc. I loved those 2 guys =P

I don't know why but it was addicting. One thing that made it so was that it was in real time.

i just hope it has a bigger town and maybe a lil questing for special items maybe some dlc as well.
