I haven't yet because I don't have anyone's friend codes, but the thing itself is very small, and fits right above your sensor bar as shown in many pictures and videos.
I cannot wait to use it.

I am using it with someone at the moment and it works pretty well. Sometimes there is screeching noises, but I think it just might be minimal lag. No gameplay lag and there is like a 2 second delay from when I talk and the person answers.
Overall, I LOVE IT!

Yeah man Animal Crossing is awesome, I just got it friday, and it rules, they fixed any problems I had with the old one, mainly mortgage prices and and that kinda stuff, and the control is sort of intuitive as well, I mean that in the way that; you can point and click to walk rather than having to use a nunchuk, meaning I can be lazy

No Frog, it isn't possible. I too was looking forward to that, but as far as I know, I've looked into it, and you cannot visit towns without the person's gate being open.

I could have sworn that was a big aspect they were advertising—that you could visit your friends' towns anytime you wanted, and interact with everything they've done, via WiiConnect24. Are you sure there isn't an option in some sub-screen to keep your gates open?

Yeah I think they were talking about that on the IGN podcast. They were upset that the promises made about animal crossing didn't end up to be true.

My Nook's Cranny has not upgraded yet between three players, but my GF insists that it does at some point. I sure hope so because as of now, its a race to see who gets on and makes it to Nook's first to buy the good stuff. Yesterday my Bros GF pretty much bought out the entire store and I had to wait until this AM to get anything new.
Right now, Im trying to figure out how to get those dang balloons that float around every once in awhile. I *think* that there is a noise that can be heard (womp, womp, womp, womp, womp) when one is coming, but it seems my trees arent tall enough for them to get stuck.
Also I havent been so lucky running from bees...they end up catching me after a quick chase. any tips?
