Has anyone gotten the slingshot yet? Also, does anyone know why some hearts are filled in while others are outlined on the friend list?

As far as I have gathered, an outlined heart means that the person has added you to their friend list as well. A filled in heart means that you have visited with that person, either your town or theirs.
Also, has anybody managed to catch a bee (the ones that fall from trees) yet? I know you can catch them in DS, but I haven't been able to catch one in CF yet. Is it just really hard, or is it not possible..?

bugs, as with fish, are season and depend on the time of day. I found a centipede by hitting a rock with a shovel.
if you are walking around and start hearing a buzzing sound? start digging, you will find mole crickets.

ive gotten a couple bugs sitting on of flowers, hitting rocks, & shaking trees....cant seem to catch the bees when the hive falls from the tree, i just get stung (anyone know the trick to getting a bee)...you can get a fly by leaving a tire, can, or boot sit around and you can get a ant by letting a piece of fruit sit and rot a couple days

Ooohhhh....thanks for the tips....I can't wait to try those out!! Although I have been hitting rocks for a few days now, but haven't seen any centipedes.

Yes, I bought one from Nook-n-Go(the remodelled Tom Nook shop) yesterday.

They're difficult to see. After you hit the rock, look for a tiny dot on the ground around the rock (if you see it flying off when you hit it, even better).

Thanks for letting me know, not sure if was something that was hard to find. I have seen 2 balloons with gifts but no way to pop them. Still working on the upgrade at Nook's, maybe then I will get one.

I'm into this game a lot but it's no fun playing alone. If anyone wants to play with me hit me up plz. I'll soon post my friend code when I get the chance.
Also, is anyone collecting the mushroom furniture set? I'll be more than happy to sell some of the pieces to someone.

I think a good way to catch the bees might be to try when you have a visitor, one shake the tree while the other uses the net.
