I've never played these but I watched all the IGN vids and this game looks really groovy! I'm gonna get it for my gf. She rented My Sims and hated it. But this looks like it's fun, easy, and you can do co-op with your friends(her friends have systems too).

I wish the fishing mini-game used waggle like Zelda.

And it's Free! I knew there would be no monthly fees to play this!

Nope. No GC or Classic Controller. I read an interview with the developer today. He said Wiimote/Numchuck only.

* You will be able to beam your characters, furniture and items from the DS version of Animal Crossing to the new Wii version, but, much to our chagrin, not your bells! You'll start off broke as a church mouse.

* If you don't have wi-fi, you'll be able to load your Animal Crossing data onto your DS and bring it to your friends house that way.

* There are no plans to integrate real-world weather, through the Wii's weather channel, with the game. According to Eguchi, this is because people in mundane climates would not get the seasonal effects that are so integral to the Animal Crossing experience.

* South of the border-players are out of luck. Like past iterations of the AC series, the seasons will continue to be inverted for you.

Cant wait for animal crossing wii! I'm so plzed that u can leave ur own town and explore the city. I always thought with the prior games. "If only u could leave those town gates and explore outside..."

This looks fun. But, theres not a chance in hell im spending $30.00 on a speaker. The one positive about this device is that other people could listen to me arguing with my dog. lulz

Oh and if this is delayed im going to shove something painful up reggies [CENSORED]!!

Well they said the game was already actually finished. If theyre still working on it, they are just touching it up/adding things on.

So i cant see why they would delay it. Im looking forward to this, when is the release date? (Europe?)

I personally can't wait for Folk City.. definitely going to buy it when it comes out Nov. 16th 2008. So far I'm playing AC: Wild World on my Ds lite and I'm loving it.

They should make it so you can play on sports teams. and watch hockey games. Having different sports leagues in the game would be cool.

I heard that the DLC is going to be FREE!!
You can go to the city to a shop where u can download items automaticlly for free.
Finally lol
PS:I have that feeling that it might be delayed cause they did it with brawl, but since it's been in develope for such a long time I doubt they would delay but you never know cause where talking about Nintendo here lol :P
