Did you even read through this thread? As I posted earlier, Nintendo (the actual publisher of the game) says November 16th, but I guess you know more then them...

My girlfriend and I both love Animal Crossing. They're the best games ever and I cant wait to get City Folk. I own the other two and I still play them both, they never get old, and they even got my girlfriend more interested in video games which is awesome (a.c. has positive effects on everything it touches). I'm going to get City Folk as soon as possible. And for anyone who is debating it or hasnt played Animal Crossing, I encourage you to try it because it really is addictive and fun. I only hope that they will keep Bob the cat and make the villager's personalities slightly deeper, not too deep, but maby add a few lines to their vocabulary and make them more interactive. Just not too much because I think Wild World had it near perfect.

I hope the online is good and we don't have monthly fees for it being a MMO, and that it's huge and doesn't get boring.

I had AC for the GameCube. It got pretty boring after I realized that all you could do was fish and or plant things. The house customization was ok, but become a real hassle after a while due to size and the stuff that you could buy wasn't very well done just in my opinion.

I was hooked to the original for a while (a little over a few months), but after I payed off the house bill and done a few other things, it gradually got really boring. Wild World was a little better, though to me as much as I liked playing the game wherever, I felt I'd enjoyed it more on the console.
But I agree, I really hope it has a lot to offer. The weekly item/furniture free item via WC24 should be interesting. I know it's pointless, but I'd like there to be a TV that connects to your VC (I though the NES-figures with game-ROMS was a great idea). As much as I enjoy the series, I really hope the formula is too rehashed and repetitive.

I honestly think an online gameplay with other users, not the other ones you can make would be really cool.

In terms of activities and items, whats new in City folk?
I noticed the usual axe, slingshop, etc.
What else will there be like that? Obviously there will be more furniture and items like that, but wat about items like fighing rods and stuff? What other activities and chores can you do?

Not much is known, but the old items from the GameCube game that weren't in the DS version will be in the Wii version along with new items.
And free DLC = win, developer said why pay for extras when you already bought the game. Downloading new furniture and clothes etc. is going to be nice.

According to IGN, they're saying that that's the problem in this game. There's really nothing new when compared to the GC version. And the release is getting nearer and nearer, so I'm kind of worried about content here.

Free DLC? Thats wikid man. I wouldnt really mind having similar items to GC version fr the first 2 weeks, then being able to download a load of new stuff for free.
We will get new items and clothes and stuff every month of so i would think, which is great.
