I'm not pointing fingers, but it seems a lot of people here have "seemed to have played it" since everyone is talking about how good the control and online is and isn't. :P
I truly hope the hype doesn't kill this game, or any other flaw.

sure, ps3 and xbox might run at 60fps, but since the human eye can only pick up 24ish fps anything over 30 is over kill. the only reason to have high frame rates is so that when it is overloaded and the fps slows down, it will still be above the 30fps threshold. but if the coding is done well enough, even a 30fps game will look just as good as 60fps IF ALL OTHER THINGS ARE EQUAL.

(ie, i know that wii and ps3 arent inthe same league graphically)

I normally don't support hypes, but until I find out this game will get good marketing I will hype it.

a lot of people are making assumptions on both 'sides. I mean of course you're allowed to like it or dislike it and argue about it but yeah the game hasn't been out yet. I'm hope I'm gonna like it though, voice chat seems pretty cool in the way that it makes FC's a bit less painful. I can't wait to Shot Zap in this game so he can stop talkin smack. hahaha

i dont know about online but i know controls wiill rock because i have mohh2 and according to ign, conduit 1ups it. also the video on ign ahowing all the customization option is incredible.

MOH2 is crap because it just is. You can defend it if you want. I'm just pointing out that you're being pretty fanboyish. The Conduit won't have 6000 modes, and it's not Halo2, it won't have in-game clan support.. it doesn't need that. This isn't the best FPS ever, this is what a standard FPS on the Wii should look like. It's the best to DATE for the Wii, however.

Why should I be so excited for this game when I could just pop in a game like Battlefield Bad company, Halo 3, COD4, Warhawk, or Resistance. Those games have amazing graphics, run smoothly, and are great fun. Sure, the Conduit will be the first good shooter on the Wii. MOHH2 is a joke compared to other online FPS. It doesn't make me, or anyone else, a fanboy for not thinking this game will be "teh best fps evar!"

ooooohhhhh. woe is me because you have otehr consoles and you can play fps on them. no one is forcefully shoving conduit down your throat so stop acting like it. also, how about not comparing mohh2 to to other console fps because its not on other consoels. just look at it on its own, how it was mae by a no name EA developer, how its a psp port done good and how they bested mp3 in terms of controls. i am not saing mohh2 is a great game, its a good game rightly so but it is not the crap game you guys are making it out to be.

A lot of people like to get one console and focus it on it. A lot of those people chose the Wii.

Not everyone is like "oooh gotta have everything, gotta blow $1000 so I can have every single console out there and cover all my bases and brag and win all the pissing matches".

Man, after watching some vids, I really couldn't help thing "Red Steel meets resistance"
I really hope they clean the graphics and models up. They don't look good to me at all. Everything else looks pretty good. It does need a lot of work, but I really hope they are working on it.

I'm pretty sure most people can tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps. At least I know I can. Past 60, I can't really tell a difference. I do know that R6:vegas seems to run at less than 60 fps. It all depends on textures, smoke, shadows and how much there is to render. The unreal 3 engine blows me away. I'm amazed at how much they can do with it and I hope the quantum3 engine provides that same type of innovation for the wii. Hopefully the conduit will stop this ps2 & psp porting business...

where did you watch it? they still have 9 months left anf they have repeatedely said that they will polish up the gamein those months so i wouldnt be too scared

Well actually I see it moving a decent amount of units, especially when early Wii owners were disappointed with Red Steel. Honestly, people on here talk about it, IGN, different sites etc. a lot of people are excited for this.

When you take into consideration the time being put into this game, the developers effort (they are Wii owners who want better games) and the online modes, then look at previous FPS efforts and even third party efforts you can tell this game is above those. When trying to compare a Wii game compare it to previous FPS titles on Wii or other games on Wii, don't be comparing it to a bunch of shooters on the 360/PS3. Yeah HVS said similar to 360 visuals, the character models, guns and some environments look great its really close.

If this was released on other consoles it wouldn't do well? No it probably wouldn't, the hardware might be better but the controls wouldn't be as good if they were on Wii. You have to take into consideration the games that did it well MP3/MOHH2. Not to mention the other consoles already have tons of those games, Wii has very few and thats why this game will end up doing well.

IGN. I know they still have time, I'm just really hoping they do polish it up nice. I couldn't enjoy the game if it looked like that TBH. :/

Because those games aren't on the wii dumb@ss. Those of us who decided to buy a wii and stick with it and don't have enough money to get a ps3 or 360, can only play games on the wii. So we want all of your gaming needs to be met on one console. That means shooters, racing games, platformers, sports titles, fighting games.

Right now the wii doesn't have any good shooters(- mohh2) so when one comes out, espically one that isn't a port we get excited. Is that such a problem?

We didn't say this will be the best shooter ever, only that it is revolutionary on the wii. And this game may convince other 3rd party devs to put some time into their games.
