Framerates just give the video game nerds something to complain about in an otherwise decent game. The only time it bothers me is where there is significant slow-down and even I can notice it.
On topic, I'm excited about this game because maybe it will then show some of the other developers that the Wii isn't the crap system that they want to write is off as. I was getting excited just watching the tech demo and that doesn't happen often.

As you mentioned, frame-rates don't bother me either, only if they are ridiculously slow to the point where it detracts from the game. However, if a higher frame-rate is possible, then I urge developers to not hold back.

Do you notice a difference in speed from north american movies and movies from other places. They run at different frame rates but no one notices or cares about that. 30 frames is what north american movies run at, so as long as it doesn't drop in the game I'm fine with it.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. If they're able to push it up, then go for it. Always shoot for higher than what you want and you might actually end up hitting your original goal.

They could have went to 60 frames, but they said the game would look better in 30 frames.

60 Frames isn't worth it. It's a very small difference in smoothness, and it can only be seen by people with ED/HDTVs + Component cables. And with the Wii's hardware restrictions, too much has to be sacrificed for 60 FPS to happen. I mean, look at MOH:H2.

yeah 30 fps doesn't bother me at all i think its a smart idea, what bothers me STILL is that there is no local multiplayer. i guess i shouldn't put it that way... i mean splitscreen online multiplayer because i feel that buying a sweet game that u can ONLY play by yourself kinda would get boring, i mean i love the idea and i love to VS people online, but i would have liked the game even more if they had been able to put in a splitscreen for when you have a friend over or something, you know?

Very small amount of particles, blobs for shadows, no ragdolls, bodies that disappear less than a second after death (Couldn't even finish the death animation before they just fade away-that's pathetic)..etc.
I mean, it's alright if Nintendo does it because they know how to handle the system (Galaxy, Brawl, and MP3 run at 60 FPS and those games are freaking gorgeous. Nothing the Xbox could run) but third-party developers are just playing around and testing everything.

I agree with what you're saying about local multiplayer but I think splitscreen would be kind of difficult with wii controls, unless you had a big tv. However if they made it a rail-shooter in co-op or something, they could put everything on one screen. Idk

even if it were true, it has to happen. actually no multiplayer shooters is unheard of these days.

yeah i mean local multiplayer can make or break a game, but atleast your can play with a friend and not have to go online, or you can go online with the friend also... idk, i just think it would have been a good idea.

i was kinda pissed when i got home and MOH:H2 was single player only online and offline. you just expect a game like that to be multiplayer nowadays.
