alright c'mon now stop bickering! this thread is for the conduit and we left off at splitscreen pros and cons, not person lifes...... i do agree tho that not having it was a bad idea, and it could have been a great splitscreen game like Halo 3 is.

...Split screen is "everything"? I never said the other things were necessities, just that they had no chance of coming into the game. Not a bad thing, but you're pretty much isolated by yourself if you want to play this game.

so for a first true fps on wii, they have online, LAN, voice chat, nice graphics, nice controls, everything customizable and maybe bots but they leave out split screen and you have to attack it? just let it go man

Jesus christ I'm not attacking it, stop whining, I'm just saying that leaving out that feature kind of SUCKS. Why do you defend this game with your life? I state one thing sucks about the game and you go NO U.

I'm still going to buy it and enjoy it, jeez.

Well i wouldn't be so sure about all of that, from the interview you posted earlier, which i assume is the newest interview they've done, so the most up to date:

Are you going to use the voicechat device they showed at E3?

That is something that we talked about. I don’t know if we’re going to use it or not. It’s one of those things where it’s so new and we’re at the point in the project where we need to know what we have to play with.

We were also talking -- I don’t know if it will get in the game or not -- we’re trying to get all of the UI to be 'splicable' by clicking and dragging. So -- you can move your weapons HUD wherever you want on the screen.


I think you might be setting your hopes a little too high vashivihan; I for one can't see Nintendo going from the online communicability of games like Mario kart where you can only type set phrases or SSBB where you can't communicate at all with strangers, to a game with completely open voicechat. Don't get me wrong, i really want this game to be good(though frankly i couldn't care less about voice chat), but i think you should realize that criticism of a games flaws is not always 'attacking it', because you act a bit like you've got shares in HV

well yeah right now its up for debate but i think they will have those features in the final build.

also, its one thing to "point out its flaws" but its anotehr thing to keep repeating it when otehr people have gotten teh point

Yup looks amazing for the wii, especially the ASE, whatever that blob on the ceiling is though, that looks less impressive

i agree. IMO this is the best image yet. i have yet to see fire effects from this engine. water looks fantastic but i eould like to see better explosions

yeah i would like to see those types of effects too... one thing i really am pulling for is amazing places and locations and stuff, they need to be creative and fun... i kno its in DC but it would be sweet if the story takes us to the Drudges planet or something :P
