Oh, please. "This far?" We haven't even taken out the knives and axes yet.

As much as I'd like to delve into my preferred methods of maiming fellow WiiChat members, we should stay on topic.
So, what online features would all of you like to see in online multiplayer?

Slayer Modes, Objective Modes(CTF, King of the Hill, Conquest mode ala Battlefield).
I would like to see a unified online network though. 1 Persona for all games. Whether or not you will have to make a separate name for this game is undetermined. To an extent.

By the the "To an extent" part?
Well, we're already so far into the console, it doesn't' seem like Nintendo to overhaul their online and make a unified system. One Online Identification for everything. But, I may be wrong.

no i meant what you meant by unified system for all games. but yeah i would also like that. i dont mind friend codes only if the master friend code is all you need for any game, not different codes for different games

I'd be just dandy with that.
With the introduction of Wii Speak, Online will get better. Even though Wii Speak has been criticized, companies like Nyko will develop some Headset that plugs in where Wii Speak does. If Nintendo decided to make a Master Friend Code, that would put the icing on the cake.

i get what your saying and all bt i still dont quite like friend codes... i mean then u can only play with like a certain amount of people, not anyone whos online like random match play... well u can like in SSBB but u still dont kno their names that they use and stuff, i would love to see no codes and just profiles... like halo 3

I'd love to see Capture the Flag. That was always my favorite. I'd be content even if there was nothing else (although I'm sure others wouldn't, so I'm not seriously suggesting that, heh).
Probably worth mentioning that PC FPSes such as Unreal Tournament had online play but didn't have split-screen and it didn't hurt their popularity. So I'd imagine that The Conduit could find plenty of a popular following, despite lacking split-screen.

How can you play a PC game split screen?

They should have a chat lobby. Within this lobby there may be two methods of communication: text chat and voice chat. Either of the available forms of communication may be disabled, either for mere convenience, or for parental control. The lobby could link to a master list of all the available games connected to the network -- no friend codes.

My thoughts exactly. Other than the lack of mouse and keyboard, what separates console FPS games from PC FPS games is the splitscreen multiplayer.

PC Gaming is only for people with a bigger internet life than a real life. Also you need very deep pockets, because it's retardedly expensive.
For the rest of us, we get consoles, so that we can play with FRIENDS. Do you know the definition of that word?

That's an amusing statement coming from someone who averages 7.7 posts per day.
