Let's leave it at that then, and talk about Conduit. I'm heading to the mall, though.

Also, you don't even own a Wii, but you come to this forum to argue over games. Now that's pathetic.

Oh, what an oxymoronic premise: you don't have to prove your life to me, but then make an attempt by notifying everyone of your daily plans:

For the record, PC games have split screen, mostly relegated to racing games as usual. But there are FPS games on PC with split screen. I couldn't name any recent games since I haven't really been into gaming on PC in a while with the exception of a few here and there, but I have played FPS games on PC since the beginning of FPS (I also prefer kb/m control for FPS, so far getting used to and liking the Wii controls, absolutely hate joypad controls). That being said, I just pulled out my manual for Serious Sam The Second Encounter, which indeed does have split screen. How does split screen on a computer work? Well, one player can use kb/mouse as usual, second player could use all keyboard (keyboard of course gets crowded sharing between two people, but never the less works), or use a joypad, or even each player using joypads since PC games tend to be configurable for multiple joypad inputs (joypad1, joypad2, etc.). Remember, control configurations on a PC are very highly customizable. If I remember correctly as well without actually re-installing the game, I believe Serious Sam actually supports 4 player split screen (I'm also basing this off the manual stating "Choose at least 2 players to play with").
On the subject, I'd like to see split screen in The Conduit, but not having it will not sway my opinion on whether it is a good game or not.

LOL ok..As far as online... will you be using your own dedicated servers?... Or NIntendo's? Or Gamespys? Are we going to have to enter friend codes?
Rob Nicholls – [Laughs] No one wants details like that about our multiplayer more than us! Basically, all I can say is that we’re still exploring the possibilities regarding matchmaking, but whatever we use will be as solid as we can make it.

and this is where i found it.

What, exactly, does matchmaking entail? Is that being matched with random individuals with similar skill as your own?

Oh, right.
Yeah, the system in SSBB and MKW is garbage. People who want to play on the same team as their buddies in a match against random people won't be able to in the case matchmaking is implemented. Or if, God forbid, clans form and want to challenge other clans, they won't be able to. Also, people need a method to communicate with each other outside of gameplay. A lobby, as I already suggested, would be ideal: a place where people can chill, discuss whatever and organize a game. I'd also propose the lobby allow users to create their own private channels to designate themselves an area outside of general public, for their own privacy and sect from undesired annoyances. And if you meet someone you want to continue playing with in a game, you can just say, "meet me in [insert channel name]."

ok, im a little confused, what is this "Match making" everyone is talking about?
edit: march release?! do they think they can compete with re5?
edit2: is it just me, or from the videos that i have watched, it feels like you arent getting any feedback from the the enemy when you shoot at them.

You've never heard of matchmaking?? Like in MGO? It's where you auto-match for opponents and the game searches for players around your rank. Then it's a fair game since you are playing with people around your skill level.
And, no. I don't think The Conduit can compete with RE5.

ooooo, i gotcha, like call of duty 4, ok
and, just because the 2 games are not in the same platform doesnt mean they dont compete.
Remember when brawl was released?
i dont recall any high profile 360 or ps3 games being released around that time, because they knew that most of them couldnt compete with those sales, ecxept maybe devil may cry 4, but brawl crushed it in sales, im sure they will never make the mistake of going against a juggernaut anymore.
Also, metal gear solid 4, there were no high profile 360 or wii games around that time, ecxept maybe ninja gaiden 2, which was about 3 weeks before mgs4.
i hope the conduit goes for a late march release, because re5 as early march down locked
