With those screenshots... it would seem the Metroid ones (640x363) have been resized, the Conduit ones (640x448) have not.
Did MP3 not use the full 16:9 widescreen frame? I don't remember... been a while since I played it and I'm not near my Wii.
Regardless, there's something going on with those screenshots that isn't allowing an apples-to-apples comparison. If there's been any image processing on the MP3 ones, you can't compare them anymore.
EDIT: Also note that Wiichat is re-sizing them down if you're viewing them in-thread. You have to click on them to get the full versions.

yeah well i do believe tho that it will look better one the TV, the videos on IGn look better than the screenshots do... so wouldn't on the TV look even better?

well i agree and disagree, like my star wars analogy, it looks more detailed, but that made it look worse. now dont get me wrong, i'm not claiming that will be the case with the conduit, but i'm not not finding the screens as impressive as their engine demo.

I just want to see a screenshot where the environment has that little bit of shine and bump mapping. It looks a touch too bland right now. If they can do that, it will take this game to the next level.
