You need to clarify, as most people actually mean the latter, which has nothing to do with the game they're trying to put down.

I was going by specifically those two screenshots that were posted. The textures are visibly superior in Half-Life 2. And the lighting in Half-Life 2 is still superior to most games being made today, especially the Conduit.

The Conduit is far from done, so comparing it to any game is simply a foolish thing to do. Wait till the game is done. Then compare it.

I'm not with Shoko.

They only have 14 weeks until March, and the game should be finished long before that point. If they're still working on graphics now, then we won't be seeing the game by March.

MGS4's graphics, for instance, were just as they are in the released version a year before its release.

I wasn't aware that The Conduit and MGS4 were developed by the same company with the same development style and schedule.

I think HVS has long ago established and proven they aren't like other developers. And even without that, there's no reason they can't still be working on graphics and release the game within the next 5 months.

ok, so i have come to the decision that Xbox live people are alot more ignorant than people on playstation network

so i was playing call of duty 5 online on my ps3, and i was waiting in the lobby for the match to begin, when suddenly a coversation breaks out about other consoles.

well i said, "well, i dont just have a ps3, i also have a wii"

a guy says, "oh ya, the wii is cool, but i really like shooting games, and i cant find any on the wii"

then i mentioned the conduit to them, and they responded with

"Oh ya, that game looks pretty cool, ive heard of it, not enough to make me want the wii though"

i said "fair enough"

Here is wat happened on Xbox live

i was at my neighbours house playing halo 3, and ya, this time, i bring up the topic of other consoles.

i say, "well, i have a ps3 and a wii, but i havent gotten around to wanting a 360 yet"

someone responds

"thats cool i guess, the ps3 is pretty awesome, but the wii has no good shooting games"

i agreed to that comment, but asked if he has seen the conduit

he responds "ya, ive seen it, that game looks like an inbred version of halo 1"

this is not halo people

^Exactly. I've noticed that too. 360 fanboys are way more stuck up. PS3 guys are more sensible and reasonable.

I cant begin to tell you how many times I have had this experience. PS3 people are mature, 360 owners just play mature games(note:this does not apply to everyone and is just a general thought).

FAAAIIIIILLLL. Death animations grew very outdated early PS2. Ragdolls and kinetics are what it's all about this gen, and Euphoria is going past that (and we'll be seeing a lot more of it). They better change that, I don't want to see people die in four different ways and that's it.
