I pre-ordered my GHWT band kit from RedOctane(from their Ebay account), and I've had no such problems. I actually received my kit earlier than expected. Additionally, all my instruments work just fine. Of course, I still requested the free USB midi cable so I could fine tune the sensitivity on the drum pads.

So, maybe you are just unlucky.

Have they said the drums and mic will be released together in a package? I've only heard about the drums being released separately, since any USB Wii mic should work.

You could be right about that...I guess I just assumed the mic would be included.

I agree, but in hindsight, it's a good thing they didn't since there are so many problems with the drums. People who purchase drums separately later won't have the frustrations of dealing with sensitivity issues. Lucky bastards...

I received on the Monday after the game released. So, I only missed out on the fun for one day. I really wasn't expecting it so soon either. I was expecting to get it later in the week around Thursday or so.

Holy piss, I preordered mine on sept. 20 and got it on Nov. 3, a whole week after you got yours. Not to mention I still don't have my guitar back, so I'll probably be stuck with my LP for a few more days.

Yes you need 3 Wiimotes. It's the only thing that I don't like about the Wii version.

I love GH4, but I despise the new guitars. So I bought just the game, and another Les Paul.

My friend has already broken 2 of the new guitars(he has a warranty) and I think he is getting fed up with the new model.

But the game, is absolutely awesome!!!

I had the same thoughts in mind about Wii Speak so I was going to pick one up at Wal-Mart yesterday, but the one that I went to never even got any of them in.

Anyone see the updated instrument compatibility matrix on the joystiq website? According to that, we Wii owners are SOL on compatibility with RB2. I am so sad about that, I think I could cry. Seriously.

I'm VERY cautiously optimistic that when RB2 is released, we may see a change in the matrix. The current data is going from what GH says - and if RB2 isn't out - how can they know for sure?

Maybe I'm just wishful thinking, though!
