I also have RB and the tracxk pack 1 and I dont recall any audio issues in those.
[EDIT] pyro: looks like most of those songs at the beginning of this thread were correct?

If you're talking about the list on the first post, there used to be a rumored setlist on which most of the songs were false.

Yea. That post where you called him out and told him that his list was a fake.
Anyways, so noone else has had the same problems with the audio on the Kravitz song ?
Ive triple checked the audio connections and tried it on 2 different TV's.

In Guitar Hero Aerosmith, it's hard to hear the guitar in some of the songs; what I did for this was go into audio options and turn everything but the guitar down a few notches.

Yep the audio on that one is horrible on several songs. But on "Are You Gonna Go My Way" there is NO guitar audio.
I guess either everyone here are fanboys refusing to talk about it, or it is only me having the problem.
I guess I will look for a different forum, thanks.

Yeah...you're not the only one having a problem with that song. I can't hear it half the time either...ruins a pretty decent song.

What instruments does GH3 support? I thought that WT added voice and drums to guitar and bass.
Also the guitar is upgraded with the neck slider and some minor control changes.
I haven't seen enough of GH3 to know if game play is much different. Does GH3 support purchased music downloads?
Oh yeah. All of the music form WT is from masters. I guess that means some of the songs on GH3 are coveres.

We haven't noticed any missing parts of the songs. Some parts are pretty quiet, but they're still there. OTOH, we haven't made it past medium on anything yet.
Do you have sound configured for surround on a system that only handles stereo? That's all I can think of off hand. I would try fiddling with sound settings to see of that makes any difference.

Yes, WT added the drums and mic instead of just guitar. No offense to the poster who asked that, but they must be living under a rock if they didn't know the big difference between it and GH3. ROFLMAO
Hank, I didn't buy GH3 for Wii (I had that version on PS2) but I am almost positive that WT is the first Wii version that supports DLC.

GH3 guitar is way harder...GHWT was way too easy for experts like me beat the guitar on xpert without failing...which isnt really saying much, none of the songs are very hard...so instead I'm working on my drumming, im 25% thru medium
But I suppose with GHtunes and the song creator thing there are endless possibilities in terms of difficulty...

Dear Valued Customer
Thank you for your recent order from Dell for the Guitar Hero: World Tour - Wii package, including a guitar, game, drum and microphone.
Unfortunately, on the date your order was entered, the Guitar Hero: World Tour – Wii package description (including the game, guitar, drum and microphone) was erroneously associated with the part number and price for a simpler and less expensive package (consisting only of the Guitar Hero game and guitar).
Based on this error, we shipped to you the simpler package (without drum or microphone) at its list price of $100.99 (not the list price of the World Tour package, $189.99).
We hope you will enjoy Guitar Hero – Wii. However, if you would like to return this item , please contact Customer Care at 1-800-624-9897 and we will happily provide a full refund.
Thank you for choosing Dell!
Sincerely,
Dell

So, I'm returning it.
They can't even turn it around (UPS still has it) and can't issue return stickers until I have it.
So goes my first and last experience with Dell.

Holy snap, guys. I think I just encountered an online glitch.
While searching for some people to play Band Quickplay mode with, I found someone. He had a guitar. I had a guitar. When the countdown started, neither of us were cohsen to be a bass. Soooo I was playing online quickplay with two guitars. It was odd. There was also some glitch in some songs where we couldn't use Star Power at the same time.

YES! I finally got it yesterday (game+guitar). I really like it, and I'm hoping to get a used USB mic today. I had an issue that was aforementioned here regarding the guitar incorrectly registering strums- I think it is related to the touch strip, because once I disabled it the problem stopped. The problem only occurred when I was moving around, so I guess it was caused by internal components of the guitar moving?

When you're playing a song, pause and I think you go to options, where you should see an option to turn off the touch strip, whammy bar, and things like that. There is a little box next to the word that will show if it's enabled or disabled (Check mark=on, X=off). It's on the pause menu when you're playing a song. And, to pause, you hit either button next to the Star-Power-Palm-Mute-thing.
Also, does anyone know if you can play online with a microphone? Like, I've done Guitar/Bass with a friend online, but if he gets a mic, can he sing online? Also, will I be able to hear him singing?

Yes, he could on either band vs band, band quickplay, or band career. But only the people in the same room would be able to hear the singing, not the person(s) he's playing against.
