I have a question about mario kart wii. I have copied the wfc on my wii and my friends wii and i have sat both of our wii's up for internet connecting. My question is i type in my friends number and try to connect to it. well it just sits there saying connecting and that's all it does can anyone please help me? I have raced other ppl on world wide and our connections are fine i just don't know what we are doing wrong, can anyone help me?

a easier way is probably just to add your friends MKW Friend code. then create a room for both of you to race in.

the way you have described it, it sounds like your trying to connect to his Wii to play the game??

i have the game I just put Mario kart wii wfc on his so i could play him online since he doesn't need the cd to play online. But yeah i have not tried to create a room yet since i have not been able to get a hold of him today but i don't remember making a room so maybe that could be my problem.

Your friend needs to buy a copy of the game to play online, the wfc channel is not the game.

oh, ok. i thought that it would let ya play the online game w/ out a disk. Thanks for the info.
