Has anyone here used a wireless nunchuk that they can recommend? I'm concerned about the timing on games as opposed to the wired ones.

I have a Nyko Kama.
I like it, it's not too bad. I have never noticed any lag in control what-so-ever. It is very slightly larger and very slightly heavier than the wired nunchuk, but I also have large hands and long fingers so it actually feels better to me.
I have had a couple of instances of the accelerometers going a little weird, but only upon initial start-up, never during use. I've noticed this when starting a game of Medal Of Honor : Heroes 2. Tilting the nunchuk is used during zoom aiming to lean left and right, and a couple of times the accelerometer for sensing this seems to have gotten stuck in one direction. It is a very rare occurrence, and it has only happened maybe 2 or 3 times since I've had it (I got one when the Kama first came out). Unfortunately this isn't noticeable until you start up a game and zoom aim. The only fix I've come up for it is to actually shut down the console and start up again, very annoying but not traumatic. This can also happen with the accelerometers in the Wii Remotes as well though, so I think it's just a generic issue with them and not a statement of quality on the part of Nintendo or Nyko.
I also have not noticed a significant battery drain on the Wii Remote with it, but I also use rechargeable batteries and charge station so battery drain isn't much of an issue for me at all.
I will also add that I've had great customer support from Nyko. My first charge station went bad, and they replaced it no questions asked. Only cost me shipping to send it back to them. I'm sure if I felt like it I could get the Kama replaced no problem if it bugs out completely. I suppose this isn't much of an endorsement for Nyko products having a charge station go bad and a Kama that goes buggy on rare occasions, but like I said, the customer support is very excellent.
I've been planning to get one of the converter kits for my wired nunchuk at some point, most likely the one made by Icon as it's design looks like it will be the most balanced.
Pictures of the Kama and the Icon adapter attached.
*Edit - Attached more pictures of all wireless nunchuks and wireless adapters that I have seen and are available. Icon wireless nunchuk, Intec wireless adapter, Intec wireless nunchuk, Nyko wireless adapter, and an unknown brand adapter. Picture names indicate which is which.

No problem. Like I mentioned I have seen them all in stores except the unknown branded one, so it wasn't any work to find the pictures. I actually might be heading out today to pick up the Icon adapter as Futureshop here has it on for $9.95 at the moment.
Might I ask which one you have ordered?

bradleyd, I thought I was ordering the one you recommended since it was by Nyko, but I see it's a little different. The one I got is the Wii Nunchuk Cord Free Wireless Adaptor. It was a little cheaper. I hope that doesn't mean it won't work as well.
I don't know why they didn't make the nunchuks wireless to begin with. I hate getting the cord in the way on some of the games.

It should work just as well. Since it's Nyko (I'm assuming it's the one in the attached picture in this post), it will be using the same wireless electronics that the Kama uses (although the receiver does look a little bit different on the outside). The adapters are cheaper since they aren't a stand-alone nunchuk, so you only pay for the transmitter shell that the nunchuk hooks into and the receiver that plugs into the Wii Remote. These let you turn your wired nunchuk into a wireless without having to pay for another nunchuk. The Nyko brand products are usually pricier than the Intec and Icon products, and in my opinion are typically of better quality as well. I paid about $40 for the Kama (In Canada), but I also needed a second nunchuk as well anyway so it was cost effective for me.
And yes, I find the dangling cord annoying as well. I also hate seeing it laying all over the place when I put it down.
