No Mario Games At Launch

When you say "Nintendo", you think of Mario,
I find it strange that on day one of the Wii, you can't play any Mario game, (Besides VC, even at that there's only one game with Mario in it lol)

Not even Mario Galaxy, Mario Kar, SuperSmash Bros, A Mario Sport, Nothing!

It just doesn't seem like "Nintendo" Wii without Mario,,,

what's up with that?!?

Mario games are definatly on the way... at least we have Zelda to hold us over. I know it will be worth the wait.

First i dont remember any console by nintendo launching with a mario game and second if they released all the good games at once they wouldnt sell later.

You can play all the Mario Gamecube games. You seem to have forgot about that

I think it was smarter to release Zelda over Mario. People have been talking about the "Realistic" Zelda game since the Game Cube was just a rumor. Zelda also has a better use of the Wii controller with the sward swing than Mario would so it would be a better game to hype the new style of game play. Plus if they released both at launch they would cut into each others sales. Smart move by Nintendo.
