Multiplayer in SMBB party games

Hi

Just got my wii today, love everything about it. Just that I cant get multiplayer in SMBB to work. The synchronization works well in wii sports and wii play. But cant get up a second controller in super monkey ball

there are no instructions as far as I have found. Just says press 1 when all players have been added, but I cant add more players. Tried holding down, sync, 1&2 together etc

The wii has manuals.

cheers, found out now. Didnt think about controllers being synched to your console. So to everyone as thick as me, press synch on the remote and then on your wii at the front of the console
