Wont let me register - gives me message saying "Wii number cant be registered"

checked that and its def right number.

where can I get step by steps on the registration process which includes email reg?

gee thx for stating the obvious!

I was hoping someone else had covered this problem.

I'm in the UK so the .com site only deals with US & Canada

The console tells me the Wii number, I go to register, type in the number it gave me and it says wrong number, I've done this process 7 times now.

Then either your not putting it in right, someone took your #, or your system is a fake.

that happens to me when every time i try to register my wii through the wii enter the numbers get the same thing you get ..so i just registered it at nintendo.com lol hope its the same thing lol as i still cannt do it through the wii lol

I don't think u have to register ur own wii, I think U r trying 2 register ur own wii number on ur wii.

lol ok ok so that screen on the wii is for adding friends to your wii console? sorry lost the manual don twanna check nintendo.com cause i always get caught up on looking at somthing else lol
