i have an adapter that i use with my dvd player do put its component into the vga of the projector.
the wii will not give a screen doing this. its like the signal isnt strong enough or something .

the signal is carried in green, and if i leave it plugged into the dvd player then plug red and blue into the wii i can see the wii screen overlayed onto it.

anyway know whats going on?

That doesn't help, he's looking for someone who's tried it, not someone who's trying to get it to work

My Wii uses component over vga to connect to my tv. Does your projector support 480p?
