other options for internet connection

dont really want to buy a wifi connector...is ther other options as in a male to male long corded adapter...or something similar? dont know to much about connections and routers and stuff of that nature..any help is appreciated..i do have hi-speed i do know that is a must

You can use a Cat-5 lan cable to connect directly to your broadband router if you buy one of these:
