Hello,

I have my Wii connected to my A/V receiver. Occasionally, I forget to turn the receiver off after powering down the Wii (to an amber light, not red). After a while, static will start to come out of the left speaker only and it builds in volume. I'm not too worried about it because I just have to turn the receiver off but I do think it's curious. Any one else experiencing the same issue?

Thanks,
Richard

Yeah, I went through this when I had my Wii hooked up to my surround sound. I think it may just be that some older (like 2-3 yrs) sound systems cannot handle the sound compression the Wii puts off. What I did was just run the sound through my TV instead.
