Thinking of buying, but need to know video out option

I am looking to buy a Wii for my wife as a present. To make sure she can play it on the day, I want to make sure that I have the correct cables and the unit will be compatible.

I am connecting to a Canon XEED projector which has a DVI socket, VGA and S-Video.

Whats connection will give me the best video from a Wii (it will be a PAL unit)

Cheers for your help

Ashby

Hi Ashby - In reply, I am using Optoma DV10 projector and have no problems with the RGB cable out of the box. The internet is a little blurry but apart from that superb. I have bought the component cables but can't find an adapter to plug through my projector but apart from that bowling at 103" is class.

One thing I did buy was a switch box so I can just flip between my external dvd cinema setup, gamecube and Wii. It was only £20 and saves a lot of hassle if you use your projector for more than one input.

Have fun!
