Wait like 5 mins they auto-disconnect / go off usually?
or go to the controller menu and click reconnect then just dont reconnect the second one.

you should be able to just tap the power button to turn off an individual controller. just a little way to save batteries.

yeah they do, but it'd be a nice feature if you could just turn them off.

the batteries last a long time anyhow. not like the extra 3 mins it takes to auto-off is gonna take a huge chunk of the runlife.

just dont touch them for a few minutes. . if you touch the button it restarts the auto-off timer. shaking it might reset it to so set it away from you.

The original batteries are crap. Get rechargables. Besides that, why is everyone posting the same thing? I think we all get that they auto shutoff

whoa, you answered your own question in your question. Yes, you have to hold it longer to shut off than turn it on.

sounds like a bad deal unless you do nothing on the job (no offense) some people here in my HS get like 250 dollars in one weekend shoveling. (18-20 an hour)

Simple: Hit the home button then go to the controller part at the bottom. Hit "reconnect" and don't reconnect the one you don't want to use. Easy right?
