i Would have to say the big advantage that converter have over an hdtv is, its more portable. But thianks for the info jorge

I bought my self a Mac Pro costs 13,000 SR (3466$) while in America 2500$+15%TAX
OK lets change I just bought my a self a Wii for 1900 SR (506$) Vs. 250$
another thing my NDS cost 1200 SR (320$) Vs. something allot cheaper
a SONY Full HDTV costs 11,666 (3,110$) Vs. 2,999$

you know the cheapest place I've ever been to buy decent Electronics for cheap was Tokyo, Akihabara
not fake china, the original stuff are so cheap for foreigners even for the Japanese them self
Saudi Arabia is a cheap place to live, not to Enjoy.
but the opposite anywhere else which is Expensive to live, cheap to Enjoy.

What some of us are trying to say is that you won't get an upscaled resolution unless the TV is capable of showing that resolution. It is kind of like running high-definition signal to a standard definition television.

yeah i catch what you all are saying..... So i'm guessing that the images wouldn't look as good as the hdtv images. I was kinda puzzled anyway but hey cool though since hdtv's that cheap, might as well buy the tv. I should've known that anyway because the standard tv wasnt made to handle as much as hdtv's.

Just a warning...the ones that I have seen...an LCD HDTV under 32" looks like shit. I haven't seen any with a good picture quality.

Of course. I am saving up for a 52" Sharp Aquos 1080p LCD. I wouldn't go that big, but I get a killer discount from Sharp.

Now thats HUGE lol. Dats like each person have there own tv lol. OYu must be have a big place to put that in. Now playing first person shooters on that got to feel real.. You really need one that big.

Not incredibly huge, but the entire building is 30'x30'. That includes kitchen and bathroom though. I live in a guest house. Kind of like a pool house with no pool.

Buh thats still huge because most people get 25 for the rooms and like a 36 for the front room. But yeah get it though. That should be nice. You need to get surround sound with that too. Playing games with a sound system is so Good

I also get Klipsch speakers for about half the price that stores have them listed. Klipsch speakers make Bose run home crying to mommy.

The Sharp TV is an excellent TV. I won't be getting it for a long long time. It is $2,000 and I might make $10,000 in a year. Though I can tell you it is an excellent picture...I stare at it all day at work. Best Magazine rated the Aquos series one of the top 5 LCD series on the markets.

Don't buy it. We hooked it up to an upconvert player for a meeting tonight, and hooked up a 46" Samsung to it as well. The Aquos looked horrible. I would rather have watched it on a 27" tube.
