power issues

I was playing my wii and I turned it off for a second. When I tried to turn it back on, the power button on the system and remote wouldn't work. i unplugged it and it was fine. Anyone else have this problem? How do you fix it?

I have heard of this happening to many people. Unplugging it and repluging it has fixed it in all of the cases that I have heard of though.

I have the same problem.
Wii doesn't go standby, it poweroffs and "dies" without possibility to bring it up again without unplugging.

Is there any solution not involving unplugging&replugging?
