What can be connected to the wii usb port?

Mainly:
does it accept usb mass storage devices?
does it allow for usb game pads to be used in place of gamecube/classic controller?

No,right now its used for the wires and all.But hopefully later on,there will be a USB keyboard,and then when online play comes out,mabey a USB headset,or was that Bluetooth!

I have just noticed that this is quite a common question. I did search for USB with no results but serches for keyboard gave lots of results.

ummm anything usb powerd, to charge ipod, charge some phones, charge batterys, any usb powerd nick-nacks (heated gloves...etc) ,cooling fans, light up stands, eventually a keyboard but not now

You can buy them battery pack chargers off the internet for your wii-remotes that charge from the USB port, im gonna get some soon
