had my 24 thing on since launch. takes about 1-2 minutes to get a game no problems.

oddly, my wii never gets hott. it always feels a little warm like all systems do after continuous use of play but never to the point of scolding heat like a laptop does.

id deff call nintendo customer service....

Well I haven't had troubles with Wii. Well a few times when I'm playing WarioWare: Smooth Moves It slowed a bit but picked up its pace again.
