Last Month my dog chewed my sensor bar cable and because it is an optic cable i could not fix it. I was looking around the net and found out that i could use candles so i watched the video on youtube and decided to try it myself and to my amasement it worked

You can use anything that gives off some kind of light. Flashlights, candles, remote controls with the button held down.

It is pretty neat.. :p

you can really use a flashlight????

i knew about the candles thing since thats been posted on here many a times (search box is your friend ) but flashlights? thats something im going to have to try this weekend.....

more specifically anything that gives off IR radiation....(so you will find some 'lights' will work better than others...)
