The Classic controller can only be used to play VC games. You need a GC controller to play GC games.

guy in the game shop said you can use either. ragin now cos i didnt buy one.

You can use a GC controller to play both GC and VC games though.

didn't buy a classic controller either, got a wavebird instead.

classic controller
looks useless right now unless your into VC games and want a better layout controller for that.
