Wii Mod Chip

Ok so if I get a mod chip to get games free (i know its illegal) do you think some how Nintendo can figure it out and shut off my wii so I can never play it again?

Also what is the best mod chip?

Funny you say this. Microsoft recently just shut down all modded X-boxes so they can't play online unless they take the chip out.

Well thats ok if I take it out and can still play. I just dont want it like either way if i take it out or not i cant play.

But whats the cheapest chip that will still let me play well and has decent features. I know that Wiikey is only 20$
