Nintendo already stated they will not introduce a Dvd attachment to the Wii as they previously was going to do cause of costs and the fact that almost everyone has a dvd player.

soz but not the thing the actual dvd player is in the wii but it needs the extra hardware for it it will plug in to the usb port
