I got my DS Close to the launch date, so I have the original version.I'm probably gonna get Pokemon battle revolution and diamond, but can the original Nintendo DS hook up to the wii? I don't wanna have to buy a DS lite. Sorry if its in the wrong section I'm newbie  . |

Yes, there is not much difference between the two consoles apart from the appearance/size and brightness of the screen, mostly all the inner workings are the same.

yeah and the fact that the orginal ds has a plate of steel in the back, ( it was designed for kids so steel is supposed to keep it from breaking) but i dont see how that works
