Yeah, like the member mentioned above, they will work. Its still Europe, so the region will remain as PAL.

Why would you come to Australia and buy Wii games?
The current exchange rate is 42 Australian cents to a British pound.
British Game RRP: ₤40 = $AU94.30
Australian Game RRP: $AU100 = ₤42.40
It's cheaper to buy them in England. Isn't it?

at the current rate it is.
but, i would question the practicallity of actually going all the way to
oz to buy games which are readily available here in the UK.
also, what if the game(s) is/are damaged...how would you go about replacing them?
it's not like the OP will be able to walk into their local game/gamestation and
get them exchanged.

yes i know a really cheap game store when i went a couple of months ago where the games are 60 dollars and oh yeh no offence but australia isnt part of europe but part of the british empire
