well the wii has 2000+ blocks, so depending on the game, quite a few.

The term memory is loosely associated to the actual "storage capacities" technical name. Though it ties more into the type of storage is using flash memory. Which in case is not memory at all.

Though in association to your question it is 512mb (3000 blocks). Which should be plenty for saved games since they range from 5-10 blocks. That's easily 300 saved games with no virtual console data.

SanDisk SDMSG-1024 Pro Duo 1 GB Gaming Memory Stick

will that work on the wii?

The Wii uses SD cards not memory sticks

sd cards work for music and photos but not for the wii memory, u have to get the special sd card just for the wii, the wii sd card

but thats the only way u can save memory on a sd card if u want to transfer it to another wii console
