i have a problem with my wiikey modchip i just got my wii yesterday with the wii key modchip and i tryed updating the modchip and i dont really know how to do it i already put the iso 1.2 pal update file on the cd now i dont know whut to do every time i put the cd in it says disc error can you help me and explain what im supposed to do

I like to import japanese and american games for my UK system, for example

There are forums specifically for the Wiikey that could answer this question far better.

From what I remember reading there is no indication that the update has worked from the update disc. I think its visible when running the config utility?

If you've bought the chip in the past few months it should have already been upto date. If there was a bad flash there is a recovery mode on the chip. Read the instructions that came with it.
