I know there is another post about this, but I couldn't find any confirmation in the post so I just figured I'd lay out my situation and see if anyone had a straight answer for me.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if a Wii from the US would be able to play games from other countries? My friend in Europe was thinking about sending me a copy of Mario Strikers but I was not sure if I'd be able to use it or not.

No, the US Wii console is NTSC, whereas the European game is PAL, so unfortunately, it will not work on the US Wii.
