Hi all,

I got my Wii on Sunday and after about an hour of gameplay, the power cuts out and I have to pull the power cable out the back and then put it back in so that the power button comes back on. I've followed the troubleshooting instructions in the manual and on the Wii website but it still cuts out!! Could it be that the fan in the Wii for cooling is not working properly???

No, unless your Wii is freezing then I dont think the fan has anything to do with it. It sounds more like there is something wrong with the power cord. Hopefully its not something wrong with the Wii itself..but thats still a possibility! I recommend that you call Nintendo customer service. They can send a replacment or repair the Wii you currently own if its needed.

Check to make sure the power cord is clean and not damaged in any areas, that can cut off the circulation of electricity. If that doesn't work, call a Nintendo troubleshooting agent and se if they can help you out. They might send a new copy.
