I bought MadCatz Component cables, and have a Toshiba 42" HDTV. The games themselves look great, but the starting Wii screen jumps all over the place, and any time I have a white screen (inputing numbers, etc.) it jumps all over too. If I change the Wii settings to non-hd, it does not do this. Is this a problem with the cables, or with my TV settings? Also, downloaded several VC games (Punch out, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.), and the colors of the games look wrong - Mario is a strange blue, backgrounds are bright red, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi wyatt880. I think you got a faulty cable. The component cable I use with my
Wii works just fine, but I had exactly the same color problem with a faulty NVidia cable that I first used with my HTCP. NVidia replaced the cable and the problem was solved.
Have you tested the Wii and the cable on another TV?
Again, I say that I had the same problem with a VGA component out cable, not the Wii cable, so you should test with other TV's before trying to replace the cable.
