Last week there was a thunderstorm and the power went out. I wasn't home at the time so i don't know the exact time. The wii won't turn on and the light isn't on either. I don't know if it's a short circuit or what, but I need some help (hence the name).

Have you tried unplugging it and letting it sit a while then plugging it back in?

To protect electronics from these sorts of things it's best to have them plugged into a surge protector. Glad to hear your Wii is still okay.
