So Im selling my 6x11 Wacom tablet and using the money on a new TV. Im pretty sure it will be a 23" Hannspree LCD.
I was wondering if anyone here plays on a 23" LCD TV and if so, how far away do you sit from it? I will be around 6 feet away. Hopefully won't be too far.
Also, I was thinking about getting the Wii componant cable, but am not too sure if it will only work with HD TVs or any tv with a componant input?

That sounds like a little too far away. Thats about how far away I sit, but I have a 32". And the component cables should work as long as your TV has component ports.

get the component cables. They will work with any TV that has component in. What you get is an extra 30FPS for a picture. 480i = 30fps, 480p = 60fps.
