Plugged the cables in - checked and rechecked id done this correctly!

Fired the wii up and all the colours were green???

changed the settings to 480p - still green

no red colours at all

played about with the leads - nothing works

cant be my tv as i play my 360 in HD on it

Do you think its a bad cable or...............???????

Any help much appreciated.

COULD be a bad cable, but make sure you have them all in the correct slots again... If you kept the reciept, i'm sure you could get a replacement.

What brand is it?

Just sounds like the other two color elements are tweaked - just take it back, cables are usually the first thing I consider when there's a problem.

FWIW, I scored a generic component cable for $8.95, works great!

It sounds like you have your red audio jack plugged into the red colour on your tv. I would make absolutely sure that isn't the problem.
