Since the SNES there has been some type of gameboy adapter for each console released. Will there be one for the Wii? Will it play DS games? The GameCube one won't work with the Wii, it requires being plugged in to the expansion slot on the GameCube, right? Any thoughts or news on a Wii GameBody/SP/DS adapter?

nope. the GBA and SP are outdated tech. and i dont think nintendo wants to do that with the wii so your screwed.

i think there are more wi-fi conection like how you can transfer you pokemon onto pokemon battel on the wii

it would be pointless to play gba or ds games on the wii but there are titles such as pokemon revolution that use the ds as a controller
