Black Wii, Blue Wii

Sorry if this question was already asked but whatever happened to the diverse range of colours Nintendo was bragging about? A Black Wii might look interesting.

Nintendo decided to go with one simple package this time around, with one color. This eliminates the selling out of one color over another and people waiting for a specific color (like how people mainly wanted a black Gamecube as opposed to a purple one at launch).

I agree that the more colors, the better and I'm guessing, like the DS lite, more colors will come out, probably by this summer.

Just for future notice, try to post these questions in Wii Basics. Good question though.

I was a bit bummed when I learned I wouldn't be able to get my Wii Black unless I waited. Oh well, the white is still sexy.

I would've loved maybe a black or green one (if they brought one out) but I just recently got a white DS so matching colours I'm fine with it

Oh, and yeah, I really would rather have gotten a black Wii than a white one, but it's a small price to pay for a Wii at launch. xP

Im not going to sell my wii only because of the color, I love the white also, and maybe its better because black stuff get more hot, like T-shirts, white T-shirts are more Fresh than black ones, because black ones absorb heat

Maybe Ill buy a colored Wiimote next gear.

Second'd. I actually like the white system. It's sleek and clean, though not to be confused with the white Xbox360 which is pale and bulky. However, I am planning on buying either a black or red wiimote to use as my personal controller. Being a twin, I'm all about creativity and uniqueness.

I prefer the black one, but I'm perfectly okay with a white Wii.

I was planning on buying the white from the beginning but other colors woulda been cool I guess. And yea like Arcadium says darker colors absorb more heat therefore white keeps your wii coolest(temp)

An interesting fact... if you go to BBC NEWS | Business | Nintendo Wii to make debut in US there is a picture of a white, black and light blue wii. Maybe Nintendo will release them soon.
