Did you know that the wii can charge your ipod? I plugged my ipod shuffle into it out of curiosity and it was actually able to charge it.

i do that with my mp3 player. and yea, it's too bad that you cant listen to music with the Wii

But you can listen to music on the wii. You put it on an sd card and you can open the mp3 files in the photo channel.

You can pretty much charge your Ipod or Mp3 player off any other USB device.
