Okay, just ordered a HDTV.

However I have just read somewhere the WII is not compatible with HDTV'S.

Does this mean it will not work at all, or just that the display will not be HD.

So confusing...

Thanks

The Wii will work with a HDTV but it will not display in HD resolution. In order to get the best possible video out of your wii use wii component cables (Madcatz, Nyko, or official NIntendo ones) which will display the wii's maximum output 480p which looks better than standard composite cables (480i). Just make sure that your TV has component inputs, it should say it in your TV manual.
