Just my luck, my brand new Wii died today. Popped in Mario Galaxy, after a few loud clicks......... dead. I get the dredded black screen with "Error, eject disc and restart". Basically the drive has packed up.

Anyway, I went to the UK Wii site and clicked on Contact Customer Support and guess what....... UK Customer Service...... Dead LOL Nothing, no way at all of e-mailing the Nintendo UK Services.

Is it working for anyone else?

Sorry not a UKer so can't help you, but I too noticed a difference in my disc drive after the first time I played SMG. Ever since than it has been louder (and I have verified this because my parents own a Wii too- mines a year old and theirs is a month old)
